The patch is currently in open beta, meaning there are some hiccups and possible glitches, but for the most part it seems to run pretty smoothly. Not sure if this is already common knowledge, but there is an ongoing MSU-1 patch for Final Fantasy VI SNES (kudos to the creator, Insidious611) that replaces the original OST with CD-quality music.
